Nourishment is one of my Super Powers. I love doing this work and I feel honored to support new families through the transformative time of welcoming a new family member into their lives. I believe this work is necessary, important, and vital to supporting health and wellbeing for birthers/Mamas, our families, and ultimately the world and our future. As such I want this work to be available to all families or at least the tools of nourishing postpartum support for families to implement in their postpartum time. I offer a variety of services to meet the needs of different financial spectrums and I am open to talking about creative exchange programs where we each are able to receive appropriate services or compensation to ensure this work is sustainable. As such I also offer payment plans for Postpartum packages. I believe all people should have access to Doula support before, during, and after birth, so please inquire to discuss creative options.
Labor doula services:
Fee: Sliding Scale $1250-$1550
I am currently starting to take on a few labor and birth doula clients for 2023 and 2024. I took a hiatus from supporting families through labor and birth starting when I was 6 months pregnant with my son in 2018 after attending births for 6 years in Nevada County and beyond. I am now feeling like I have the space and capacity to support local families again through their birth journey into parenthood. I would be honored to talk with you about labor doula support and to see if I am a good fit for you and your family.

Postpartum Doula Services
Full Day Care: All packages include an initial intake and home tour (ideally before your due date). Each day of care consists of 5-6+ hours of support per day which includes some or all of the following: preparation of 2 + meals, snacks and beverages from your pantry for you and your family, postpartum massage and steam and/or additional body work as needed (moxabustion, closing of the bones, belly wrapping, castor oil packs, Marma), herbal bath or steam, light housekeeping, infant support, breastfeeding guidance and referral if needed, lifestyle guidance, consultation, grocery shopping, and anything else that is needed and within my scope of practice and capacity within the constraints of the time I have available. I am currently available for in person care Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 8:00-2:00ish.

Ayurvedic Consultations
Ayurvedic Body Therapies- in your home or in my home office located conveniently in Grass Valley, CA, 5 minutes from the McKnight exit.
Some treatments may not be available or appropriate based on the Ayurvedic assessment Ashlee will do prior to booking or prior to the commencement of treatment. If the service is deemed inappropriate, Ashlee will discuss any possible alternatives or will reschedule your service for a more appropriate time.
I am happy to work with you and your family to provide you with the support, care, and information you need to be nourished and rejuvenated following the birth of your baby.

- 3+ prenatal meetings where we get to know each other, learn about your vision and support team, answer questions, address fears, practice comfort measures, and delve into postpartum planning so you can rest assured knowing you have a plan available for optimum support and postpartum healing.
- 24 hour on call availability starting at 38 weeks through 42 weeks
- continuous support via phone for early labor, then in person from onset of active labor through 1 hour post birth
- 1 postpartum visit within the first week to check in, process, and ensure you have the resources you need
- 1 healing postpartum massage and herbal steam
- weekly check in call, Zoom, or text for the first 6 weeks postpartum to support optimum postpartum healing and integration
- unlimited text, phone, and email support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum
Postpartum Doula Services

- I am currently serving families in Nevada County and the immediate neighboring areas (within 30 minutes of Grass Valley). If you live outside of this area, please search for Ayurvedic postpartum doulas or Innate Postpartum Providers in your area via these directories or search directly for your specific region.
Virtual Consultations and Postpartum Planning Sessions:
- Village training- an in person and tailored postpartum planning and training session with your 4-6 closest support people to prepare your village to support you and your growing family throughout your postpartum recovery and beyond. Includes a comprehensive intake with you (and your partner if present) prior to the meeting, tailored postpartum recommendations, and a 2 hour training session with your community. $250
- 2 hour consultation and postpartum planning session with one hour follow up and weekly phone, email, and text access during your first 8 weeks postpartum $200
- 1 hour consultation to trouble shoot any issues that arise during the postpartum window $75 /hour
- 60-90 minute birth story session to uncover the medicine of your birth experience and support healing of your birth story and empowerment of your journey into parenthood
Nourishing Body Treatments
- Mother's Massage: 120 minutes of rejuvenation with a Mother’s Nourishing Massage and Herbal Bath or steam (at your home) sliding scale $150-$200
- Infant massage instruction 60 minute session including self massage instruction for you, infant massage instruction, and belly wrapping session in your home $75
- Closing of the Bones Ceremony without massage: This is a powerful session focused on supporting integration and closing of the gates of our bodies post birth or really anytime when we need to come back to our center and feel held and realigned. This ceremony can include your dear friends and community or it can be a small family affair or it can be a solo journey. This ceremony requires some time before hand to get clear on what it is you are seeking or needing and to co-create a sacred space and journey tailored to you. I like to bring items to support the co-creation of this sacred space and I look forward to collaborating with you to create this ceremony and ritual to fit you. The fee or energetic exchange for this ceremony is on a donation basis and may range from $50-150.
- Closing of the Bones Ceremony 3 hour session, a nourishing ceremony to honor the rite of passage of birth and motherhood as well as the physical healing needed to reintegrate into society. This session may occur anytime after the first 3 days postpartum unless birth circumstances call for this process to be done later. This ceremony is tailored to the birther but typically begins with intention setting, clearing of space, sitting for tea, followed by an Ayurvedic Massage with either a full body steam or a Yoni Steam and then a guided relaxation during the closing of the bones ceremony with a rebozo (woven long cloth) to support integration of the physical, emotional, and spiritual gates of the body that are left open through the process of labor, birth, and postpartum. The final step of the ceremony is the sharing of a nourishing treat and special tea as you integrate back into your space. sliding scale $250-300

- Dough Basti: Heart, Lower back, Thyroid, Second Chakra 2 hour- includes 30 minute massage and possible heat application depending upon the treatment $200
