Ayurvedic body therapies and postpartum treatments performed in your home or at my shared office on Tuesdays or Fridays in Grass Valley, CA.
Some treatments may not be available or appropriate based on the Ayurvedic assessment I will do prior to booking or prior to the commencement of treatment. If the service is deemed inappropriate, we’ll discuss alternatives or reschedule your service for a more appropriate time.

Mother’s Postpartum Massage & Nourishing Herbal Steam
The Mother’s Massage is an important part of postpartum healing.
This treatment eases the stress and tension from labor and facilitates the release of the accumulated stress hormones in the body. It also gently assists in realigning the internal organs and integrates the body, mind and soul. Following a nourishing full body oil massage, the birther is gently enveloped in herbal steam to support temperature regulation, release of waste products through sweat, and deep rejuvenation. After resting on the table for 10-15 minutes, the birther is then is supported to get up and take a warm shower. Following the shower the mother/birther is encouraged to get in bed and take a 20-30 minute rest or nap.
This treatment takes place at your home and is recommended within the first 42 days after delivery.

Infant Massage Instruction
Ayurvedic infant massage helps reduce colic, digestive disturbances, and interrupted sleep.
It is calming, digestive, and beneficial for increasing body awareness, motor skills, and a sense of well-being. Daily massage is a wonderful nourishing and bonding experience for you and your little ones.
You’ll receive infant massage instruction, self massage instruction for you, and a belly wrapping session in your home.

The ultimate, deep healing treatment for the mind, body, and spirit.
Includes 60 minute Ayurvedic massage (Abhyanga), 40 minute oil treatment (Shirodhara), 30 minute herbal Steam treatment.

2-Hour treatment with an Ayurvedic massage and herbal steam. This classic Ayurvedic Massage treatment is profoundly relaxing, rejuvenating, and facilitates the detoxification of your cells and body systems.

Shirodhara
Shirodhara is an amazing therapy for calming and rejuvenating the mind, nervous system, and endocrine system.
It begins with a 50 minute back, feet, face, and head oil massage–followed by 20-40 minutes of continuous streaming of warm oil across your forehead and 3rd eye.

Dough Basti
Site-specific treatment for lower back pain and spine, emotional disturbances related to the heart, thyroid conditions, reproductive challenges relating to the second energy center. Includes 30 minute massage and possible heat application depending upon treatment needs.

Marma Point Massage
This traditional Ayurvedic treatment focuses on Marmani, or marma points, which are physical manifestations of the subtle energy line intersections of the body. Utilizing light massage and Organic essential oils on these points clears energy blockages, regulates vital energy flow through the body’s pathways and regulates functionality of the internal organs.
